Pondexter Shares his March Madness Experience

Fresno, CA, USA "The Purdue game was really physical," said Pondexter. "It took us a whole half to really get adjusted to the way they played. It was just a game that we really knew that we had and it just hurt that our season came up short because we had a lot of bigger dreams ahead of us."

Bigger dreams fueled by a number 14 national ranking and a Pac-10 conference regular season championship.

"I just really had a great faith in our team in winning the championship. As the season went on it got closer and closer. A lot of people started believing in us. It was just a great accomplishment to win the championship."

But even if Pondexter's NCAA Tournament didn't go exactly as he planned it, he'll still be glued to the games this weekend.

"Oh I'm definitely going to be watching. I'm going to be watching with a bitter taste in my mouth, but I'm going to be watching because it is a holiday. It's a holiday for college sports. It's an amazing event."
