Two Bulldogs Get Drafted In The 6th Round

Fresno, CA, USA As quarterback tom Brandstater and tight end Bear Pascoe were selected today in day two of the NFL draft.

The first to go was Brandstater.

After the Denver Bronco's traded Detroit for the first pick in the sixth round to take him.

Brandstater enters a good situation for a quarterback in Denver, after pro bowler Jay Cutler was traded to Chicago.

Brandstater will now battle Kyle Orton and Chris Simms on the depth chart.

Pascoe didn't have to wait long after Brandstater to hear his name called. The six-foot-five workhorse was taken 10 picks later in the sixth round by the San Francisco 49ers.

Pascoe projects to fill the spot vacated by Billy Bajema in the strong blocking tight end mold.

Brandstater and Pascoe were the only bulldogs drafted, but more dogs will look to sign free agent contracts in the coming days.
