Navarra was arrested Thursday during a large-scale sweep throughout the Winton area involving 60 officers from several agencies.
The sheriff's department organized the operation after the deadly shooting last Wednesday that also injured three people ... Including a mother who was walking with her four year old son.
Detectives are still searching for the other suspects.
Merced Co. Sheriff Mark Pazin said, "We're gonna leave no stone unturned. I think we've all basically hit the high water mark on these buffoons who can go out any time at night and start shooting up a neighborhood."
Thursday's sweep also led to the arrests of three other suspects on unrelated charges ... Including an 18 year old girl accused of violating her probation by possessing this sawed-off shotgun.
