Man Shot by Sheriff Deputies in Fresno County

Deputies say they had to fire beanbags, tasers and gunshots before finally subduing the man.Officers were called out after the man reportedly fired gunshots during a domestic disturbance at a home near Clayton and Walnut in Southeast Fresno Sunday.

Deputies found him holed up in a barn on the property. After two hours of negotiations officers say the man pointed his gun at deputies ... that's when they opened fire on him.

The suspect has not yet been identified. He is recovering at a Fresno hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
