Admission to the drive-in is six bucks for adults, a dollar for kids under 12. Cheaper than a theatre, and for the money here you get a double feature, of first run movies ... and you can spread out.
This drive-in has been here since the heyday of the drive-in theatre, in the 1950's there were five thousand drive-ins nationwide. Now there are just 400. Only 18 drive-in theatres still operate in California, and this is only one of two in the Central Valley. That's why this place draws people from all over.
Drive-in's may be old fashioned fun but it looks like their time has come again, and they expect to be packing the crowds in here all summer.
