Clovis Police Party Patrols

An old-fashioned patrol helped Clovis Police crackdown on some new ways teenagers are organizing big parties in the valley. The Police Party Patrols last night were designed to keep kids out of trouble, especially during the graduation party season.

But officers are also very concerned about big parties organized on social networking sites, like MySpace.

There have been shootings at two of those types of parties in Fresno County over the last month. And Fresno Police had a near riot on their hands when they broke up another party.

Last night, Clovis Police broke up 19 parties. They ticketed four teenagers for being under the influence of alcohol and for curfew, they arrested two people for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and police arrested one person for driving under the influence.
