The 14-year-old boy was walking near Angel Falls when rescuers say he slipped on a rock and fell into swift moving water.
Rescuers say two adults were with the victim. Both adults jumped into the water to save the 14-year-old ... but the current was too strong.
At this point his name is not being released. We do know he was not from Madera County and on vacation.
One of the adults suffered minor injuries trying to save the boy.
Angel Falls are a very big tourist attraction. But investigators said the teen's death is a sad reminder the falls are dangerous and deadly.
