35,000 Pot Plants Eradicated in the Central Valley

Officers said they broke up growing operations at three locations near Los Banos, on Arburua Road, Wolfsen Road, and Washington Road.They found more than 35,000 plants, all at least four feet tall.

Officers said the plants were inside sophisticated encampments where suspects set up camps to tend to the crops.

They made no arrests, but they seized the plants and at least 15 pounds of pot.
