Expedia customers could get $123 million

If you used Expedia to book hotel rooms over the past decade you may have money coming. A class action law suit is wrapping up and it appears as if an agreement will send $123 million back to consumers.Expedia is accused of charging excessive amounts and bundling together hotel charges called "tax recovery charges" and "service fees."

This is complex. Not all hotel charges are being rebated, but the period being litigated is from January 10, 2001, through June 11, 2008.
