Brush fire breaks out near Lancaster

A brush fire started near Lancaster Friday afternoon. Homes may be threatened.The fire was burning due east of Elizabeth Lake in the Lancaster area. The fire has been dubbed by firefighters as the "Hillside Incident."

The brush fire has burned approximately 20 acres with 10 mph winds.

Firefighters have requested tankers and superscoopers to help fight the fire.

According to officials, homes may be threatened near Johnson Hill Road. Firefighters have called for help with structure protection.
