The day before rivals, Clovis West High and Buchanan High have their game, several players from each school competed in a pancake eating contest at Huckleberrys in Northeast Fresno.
All the players brought their appetites with them for this contest.
Kelvin Cain of Buchanan took home the top prize for his team. He ate 23 pancakes while the top player from Clovis West High ate 21-and-a-half pancakes.
