Authorities said the man was first seen driving extremely fast near Shepherd and HWY 168. The man was given several opportunities to pull over, but Highway Patrol said he would not.

The C.H.P. clocked the motorcycle at over 90 miles-per-hour. The driver was also running red lights.

The chase was eventually called off as the driver was cruising through neighborhoods, and even a school zone.

The incident ended when the suspect crashed at Chestnut and Herndon in Fresno. He died on the scene.

The chase only lasted seven minutes. No one else was injured. The driver of the motorcycle has not been identified.

Fresno Police are investigating the crash even though the chase started with the C.H.P.
