Police also revealed they believed this killing was unprovoked and totally random. At Tuesday night's vigil, Hernandez' mother said the crime is impossible to comprehend.
Bernice Lujan said, "I don't understand how someone could go up to somebody and just shoot ... and not care."
The district attorney's office could file charges as early as Wednesday afternoon against the two suspects now in custody.
