The 33-year-old married mother of three stunned authorities earlier this month when she walked into a police station and confessed to the affair with one of her former students. She said she had been overcome with guilt.
Days before surrendering she had quit her job at David Starr Jordan Middle School, where she was a popular teacher.
Beck has declined to post bail and remains in jail.
