Meg Whitman Brought Her Campaign to Clovis

FRESNO, California Whitman talked about the double digit unemployment in our area and her plans to reach out to valley farmers to help their business prosper during this tough economic climate.

Meg Whitman (R) Candidate for Governor said, "I want to provide tax credits for investing in irrigation and other water saving types of things. Then of course I am a supporter of the water bond which I believe is essential to agriculture in the Central Valley."

Whitman's main republican rival in the June primary, is Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner. He made two campaign stops in the Valley earlier this month.
