Bulldogs get pre-season recognition

Fresno, CA Kicker Kevin Goessling and guard Andrew Jackson have been named preseason all-Americans by nationalchamps.net. Goessling was an honorable mention, while Jackson was selected to the second team. Both players are rated among the nation's best at their positions

Jackson has been an anchor on the Bulldogs' offensive line opening up holes for NFL first round draft pick Ryan Mathews last season

Goessling had a fantastic year in '09 hitting 15 of 16 field goals and all of his extra points.

Fresno State kicks off the season against defending big east champion Cincinnati on September 4th at Bulldog Stadium. It'll be the first of seven home games for the Bulldogs in 2010
