The flag disappeared from Hedrick's Chevrolet on Monday night.
Since our story first aired on Wednesday, Hedrick's has received $525 in private donations to pay for a replacement.
The 20 by 40 foot flag flew over the dealership for the past five years.
The Clovis Veteran's memorial district has put in an order for a new flag, which should arrive within the next two weeks.
The cash donations will go into a special fund for veterans. The dealership will hold a public ceremony to raise the new flag.
