Pelco eliminates 50 jobs at its Clovis facility

FRESNO, California

In a statement released Thursday morning, /*Pelco*/ CEO Dean Meyer said the cuts are being made to make the company more efficient and move to a more globalized operations strategy.

Meyer also said in the statement, "While the cuts necessitate a reduction in our U.S. operations workforce, we are continuing to add Clovis-based jobs in engineering, sales and marketing. Of course, we will do our utmost to support those who have been affected and help them find new opportunities."
