It happened around three o'clock at first and San Jose in Northeast Fresno, right next to Wolters Elementary School.

Students were just leaving school for the day when police say the woman driving a black pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and collided with three other cars.

A man and his one year old granddaughter were pinned under the truck until fire fighters were able to get them out.

The grandfather injured his spine and fractured ribs. The child was not seriously hurt. Six other people were treated for minor injuries.
