Fresno Police say 20-year-old Steven Acuna and his mother, Gloria were killed last week in their Northwest Fresno apartment.
Acuna's father, Richard was also found dead in what is believed to have been a murder-suicide.
Last night dozens of people gathered with candles outside the apartment.
Friends of Steven remembered him as someone who was full of life who loved to dance.
"He was always the person to make you smile. No matter who you were, no matter what you were, he would always talk to you. He was real friendly," Roberto Rodriguez said.
Funeral arrangements are being made for Steven and his mother.
Friends say a service will likely be held towards the end of the week.
