Jose Malanche was found guilty of rape, sodomy and penetration with a foreign object -- plus infliction of bodily injury.
The Fresno County jury deliberated for two hours this morning before announcing the verdict.
Investigators say Malanche attacked the victim early in the morning in Central Fresno at Clark and Belmont two years ago. They say she was collecting cans for recycling.
Fresno Police say a DNA swab and jailhouse confession led to his arrest.
Malanche faces life in prison at sentencing next month.
