The memorial honors eight former students as well as volleyball coach Daren Torbet who died of brain cancer in July.
The former students come from all walks of life including Corporal Mike Rojas who died while serving in Iraq in April 2007.
One mother says that while the memorial is a touching tribute, having a child on the wall is something no parent would wish for. "She's touched their lives, obviously me being her mother I wish she wasn't on the wall but... I know she's in heaven and I know she's loving this," Lisa Wiley said.
Lisa's daughter, Alyssa Wiley would have been a valedictorian last year. She died in an accident in 2008.
