The Fresno Coin Gallery says their Cash For Gold fundraiser has been so successful, it's been extended for another week.

The business is donating an extra 10-percent of the value it pays customers for gold to Fresno County schools. And right now, gold prices are near all-time highs.

So far they've raised $64,000.

"We're really happy to be extending it and giving more. It's exceeding our expectations and we're hoping to reach 80, 90, or 100-thousand dollars so we added on a week!" said Stephen Foster with Fresno Coin Gallery.

Anyone who sells their gold at the gallery can designate where their money goes: arts, academics, athletics, or agriculture programs.
