Officers found the victim in the area of Bulldog Lane and Sixth Street, just before 4 o'clock Friday afternoon. He suffered a gunshot wound in his arm.
Police say the victim has not provided much information about the incident and he does not appear to be a Fresno State student.
The victim told officers he doesn't know where the shooting happened. Officers did find some blood and strike marks on the street in the area that appear to have come from a bullet.
The weapon has not been recovered.
