Man named Michael Jackson accused of stealing from Houston CVS drug store

HOUSTON

Michael Raven Jackson, 44, is charged with felony theft because he's a third time offender. Court documents state on January 24, Jackson stole toiletries and other items from the CVS at 3811 Old Spanish Trail on the south side of Houston by concealing the items in his pants.

When a loss prevention specialist confronted Jackson, he reportedly gave back the merchandise and fled the scene.

According to court documents, an unidentified woman who accompanied Jackson into the store gave authorities his name. Investigators say surveillance video of Jackson and his vehicle tied him to the scene and the loss prevention specialist picked Jackson out of a photo lineup.

Jackson has multiple prior convictions including theft in 2010 and 1991, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in 1992, and possession of a controlled substance in 1988.

Bond has been set at $15,000.
