The accident was reported at the Metro Silver Line platform right under the 105 Freeway shortly after 3 p.m. Authorities said a vehicle that was in the freeway carpool lane entered the bus lane. It avoided hitting the bus, but the car struck the passengers getting on the bus.
Six people were taken to a local hospital with injuries ranging from serious to critical.
The driver of the vehicle was being evaluated to determine whether alcohol was a factor.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
