PINC, which stands for Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community -- announced money they raise at their annual fundraiser, will go towards Break the Barriers. And to help kick off their fundraising efforts -- a $25 hundred check was presented to the groups by the America's Farmers Grow Communities Program.
Break the Barriers matches special education students with general education students and gives them a place to connect, outside the classroom. Break the Barriers began in a Fresno backyard in 1983 and has since grown.
PINC's fundraiser event is being held in June.
