Rotary Storyland is hosting its Storyland Explorers literacy program for eight weeks this summer and there are still six weeks to go.
Part of the program happens in a theater setting and then, kids and their parents do arts and crafts activities all geared at keeping kids engaged during the summer months.
"Our mission is to create memories for the children in families in the Central Valley and so by offering a program that's included in the price of admission. It's not extra. It's something the kids can do on a Saturday, every Saturday," Amber Sawyer of Storyland Explorers said.
Storyland Explorers continues next Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
It's geared for kids in preschool through third grade, but kids of all ages are welcome.
