Atwater Mayor Joan Faul there said the event will not only recognize victims of 9/11, but also those who protect our communities on a daily basis. "Honor these active persons in the public safety realm all of our firefighters, E.M.T.s, all of these people who help to make it safe for us."
The one hour program will feature speakers, a color guard, and patriotic music. It begins at 6 p.m. at the city hall on Bellevue Road in Atwater.
