5.3 earthquake hits Central California

FRESNO, Calif.

The earthquake was centered 16 miles east-northeast of King City and 30 miles west-northwest of Coalinga in Central California along the San Andreas fault.

According to the USGS, several aftershocks struck following the main earthquake.

There are no reports of damage or injuries at this time. Action News has received reports from viewers around the Central Valley who felt the earthquake.
