The event was held at the Mendota Community Center on Smoot Avenue.
It's held each year as a "thank you" to the men and women who work long and hard in the fields to provide healthy produce to the community.
Attendees enjoyed refreshments and were able to visit more than 30 resource booths providing information to farmworkers on issues including: employment, education, immigration, health, and safety.
Hundreds of people from around the valley turned out for today's event. Event organizer Candie Caro said, "They really need these services. And so they are really looking forward to it. Every year the event rows larger and larger."
The event was organized by the City Of Mendota, in partnership with the Employment Development Department and Proteus, Incorporated.
