Fresno State Pro Day

Derek Carr fought a stomach virus and needed an IV on campus before his Pro Day performance. But as we've seen before, Derek doesn't let a little adversity affect his ability or his mindset. Especially on the football field.

With his brother David by his side, the two Bulldog greats worked together to put on a Pro Day performance many Red Wavers expected.

More importantly, the scouts and GM's thought highly enough of Derek to make it out to Bulldog Stadium. Guys like Raiders General Manager Reggie McKenzie and his head coach Dennis Allen. Norv Turner is the OC in Minnesota and he was also in attendance.

Derek made all the throws and wowed hundreds of fans at Bulldog Stadium. He also spent a lot of time under center, something he'll most likely have to do in the NFL.

Derek's star power brought all 32 NFL teams to Pro Day. And even though most of them came to see Derek, it provided an opportunity for the fringe guys to get some much needed exposure. Guys like Davante Adams will be fine. He slightly improved his 40 time and caught everything thrown his way. Isaiah Burse should get drafted in day two for his slot and return skills. But former 'Dogs like Austin Wentworth, Marcel Jensen, and L.J. Jones will take any extra attention they can get to make an NFL roster on a day like Pro Day.
