Explore some glorious junk or go on a taco run this weekend

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- We may see some rain this weekend but don't let that stop you from hanging out with your family.

Grab a few umbrellas and head to Clovis to find something unique at glorious junk days or you can stay indoors and find your next family pet at a pop-up shop in fresno.

Get your race shoes ready.

This Saturday, the Memorial Run is taking place in Old Town Clovis.

The morning will include something for the whole family.

There's a 5K run, a 2-mile walk, a senior "walk and roll" and a half-mile run for the kids.

Participants will receive a race T-shirt, a medal, a goodie bag, and a pancake breakfast.

The cost varies - but it's $40 for the 2 mile and 5K races - with all proceeds going to the Clovis Senior Activity Center.

Veterans and active military personnel get a discount.

Tacos after a long run...

Yes, you can have it all and help out families at the same time.

This Saturday at Woodward park is the Taco Run.

It's a 5k run or walk and after crossing the finish line, treat yourself to tacos from several trucks that will be serving up food.

All proceeds benefit the Home Blessing Foundation.

Felines will take over "Common Space" in Downtown Fresno this Saturday for FreshMeow, a pop-up cat cafe.

The cats purring and playing throughout will be up for adoption, so come prepared to take a furry friend home.

It runs from 10 to 2 pm.

If you love to find something old and make it new again, take a short trip to Coarsegold this weekend.

There you will find the streets filled with vendors offering antiques and collectibles at the Peddlers Market.

There will also be booths with food and crafts.

This is a family friendly event. The best part - it's free.
