Three Children Missing in Fresno County

KFSN The Sheriff received a report of a possible sighting overnight of the car the girls are in at the Target at Herndon and Willow. But when they checked it out, the car wasn't there.

Deputies say the girls were last seen around on Monday at 1:30 in the afternoon in the Tarpey area. The Sheriff's Department has not issued an Amber Alert because they were not abducted. They left on their own, but authorities are still very concerned and say this is an unusual situation.

Deputies don't know why the girls left their home they share with their uncle, their legal guardian. But their uncle told Action News that he asked them to tidy up the home while he dropped off the girl's mother who had been visiting.

They were last seen driving in a 1996 Blue Ford Taurus station wagon with California license plate number 3SLH086.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff's Department.

13-year-old Kristy Harrison is described as a straight-a student and very intelligent. She's about 5' 6" and 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and red pajama pants. Despite her young age, she apparently knows how to drive a car.
