For a player who always looks in control when she's pitching Melloh admits living in Fresno sometimes feels like a galaxy away from her hometown of Fishers, Indiana.
So far it's been batters trying to keep up with her. Earlier this year, Melloh became just the sixth Bulldog to strike out 300 batters in a season.
Melloh credits much of her success to a confidence building conversation she had with Margie Wright prior to the season.
With the regular season nearly complete you can bet this freshman from the Hoosier state will certainly be counted on to get this team deep into postseason.
