Gonzales told 911 dispatchers that his neighbor was beaten and stabbed. Another time he reported an officer being shot and the body stuffed in Jodi Harris' car. Officers even searched her home and car.
Harris said for months she wondered who was behind the phony calls, until police let her hear them. She immediately recognized the voice as her next-door neighbor.
Gonzales is charged with making false 911 calls. He was apparently using a cell phone that was no longer in service but could still call 911.
