Widows Denied Benefits

National News The Veteran's Affairs Department said it wrongly denied the widows benefits over the last 12 years because of a computer glitch. They're promising to work quickly to pay off pension and disability checks the widows should have received during the month of their spouse's death.

There's a hotline for widows who think they were wrongly denied benefits, the number is 1-800-827-1000.
