One of those last minute shoppers is Danny Villanuva. He says he's shopping for his entire family today.
"This is it, I'm done. My last stop of the day. And I found the one I want to get right here."
Across town at Zena's Island Day Spa Condry says the day before Christmas is an especially busy. "There were people here waiting outside the door to buy gift cards. We get here around 8:15."
Customer Jan Bonesteel says this year spa packages are a popular gift choice. "It's the perfect gift for me because I run around all year so I figure why not."
Dr. Edwin McDonald III says he waited so long because he wasn't sure what to get. "I want something she could open for Christmas and she couldn't tell me anything. Couldn't tell me nothing."
They say diamonds are a girl's best friend and for many this made a perfect last minute gift. Josh Burnett says he had to wait until the last minute so he could afford something nice.
"When you own your own business sometimes you have to wait for our customers to bring me some money so I can spend some money."
Burnett bought his wife a diamond bracelet. He like other last minute shoppers hope they've found that last something special to make Christmas complete.
