Honda recalls 440,000 cars

The airbag inflators in them may over-pressurize as the airbag is deploying, which could cause the inflator casing to rupture, showering the interior with metal fragments.

The cars include the 2001-2002 Honda Accord, 2001 Civic, and 2002-2003 Acura TL.

Honda says the defect has caused at least six injuries and one death.
