The fire happened on October 6th.
Officers say Mayberry set the fire after he got in an argument with a woman inside the home. The woman suffered third degree burns over 40-percent of her body. She is still in the hospital.
Mayberry suffered second degree burns.
Officers say the argument that led to the fire was over some marijuana plants inside the home. Mayberry is now facing several charges including attempted murder, arson and domestic violence.
