An officer responding to the scene had to be checked out by paramedics. He was not hurt in any way, but police tell Action News the officer was exposed to the victim's blood.
No suspects have been arrested.
Fresno Shooting Victim in Critical Condition
FRESNO, Calif. Police say the victim was walking through an alley, when he was shot once in the upper body. It's unknown if he was with anyone at the time, or what led to the shooting. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for surgery.
