Dozens mourned Cindy Janelli at Golden West High School

FRESNO, Calif.

Friends and relatives filled the parking lot at Golden West High School for a candlelight vigil. Janelli graduated from the school last year. Friends turned the back of a pickup truck into a small shrine in her memory. A close family friend said Janelli touched everyone she met.

The cause of the crash that killed Janelli is still under investigation. Police say she wasn't wearing a seat belt, but her car's airbag did deploy.
