When investigators arrived, they found two bedrooms full of pot. Officers confiscated more than 50 plants, some as large as two feet tall -- along with an elaborate lighting set-up. Investigators believe those lights sparked the fire. Police say the situation could have taken a dangerous turn.
Lt. Anthony Martinez said, "Just the fact that someone's marijuana grow could have lit the house on fire it could have jumped over and lit someone else's house on fire. It was something being done unsafely"
No one was inside at the time of the fire, and no arrests have been made.
