Fresno teen gets eight years in prison after plea deal

FRESNO, Calif.

Collin Earheart agreed to a plea deal that will send him to prison on an eight-year sentence.

Earheart pleaded guilty to auto theft, evading a police officer, identity theft, a drug sales charge, and driving under the influence.

Part of the deal is that prosecutors will drop a charge against his girlfriend, Marissa Rackley.

Earheart will be officially sentenced next month.
