Hang glider accident in Fresno Co.

FRESNO, Calif.

The hang glider went down into a ponding area near Millwood and Dunlap Road in Fresno County. Shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Department responded to the crash and helped the man out of the pond.

The man was sent to the hospital but is expected to be okay. Deputies say that the injuries did not appear to be serious.
