Workers spread out rolls of the world-famous red carpet Wednesday afternoon and immediately covered it in plastic to protect it until the big night. With a 60-percent chance of rain on Oscar day the academy is also busy setting up tents to protect guests.
Rain or shine the Academy Awards can be seen this Sunday right here on ABC30 with live coverage of the red carpet arrivals starting at 2 p.m. The live awards show begins at 5:30.
