Steve Cleveland's future with the Bulldogs remains a mystery

There is still no official word from the university if Cleveland will return for his seventh season. Cleveland met with his team privately for about a half an hour, Wednesday afternoon.

Tuesday night Fresno State issued a statement saying that they were in talks with the coach but nothing has been decided.

Cleveland has been on the hot seat after the Bulldogs finished with their fourth straight losing record this year. But he is credited with cleaning up the program and getting it off probation following the Ray Lopes and Jerry Tarkanian era.
