Clovis Police say a man was struck by a Honda Civic when he was trying to cross the street. This first accident happened in the eastbound lanes.
23-year-old Jeremy Dickinson heard the accident and ran to help, but he apparently didn't see a minivan coming at him in the westbound lanes.
The victim's mother-in-law, Wanda Conway said, "Jeremy kind of turned and it caught him along his whole left side and he ... it was ugly."
The two men who were hit were taken to the hospital. They're both expected to be okay.
Both drivers are cooperating with police.
