The accident happened on Highway 41 just south of Floral Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Friday morning.
The C.H.P. said the men were traveling in a Lexus northbound when for an unknown reason they crashed into the back of the semi-truck. The car immediately rolled over, ejecting the passenger. The driver was trapped inside the car after it caugh fire.
Both died at the scene, the truck driver was not injured.
The identies of the victims have not been released, and base officials plan on releasing more information later Friday afternoon.
