Monday night crews battled a fire in Kingsburg that broke out at Warkentin and 14th. A photo sent to the Action Newsroom shows the fire.
Firefighters say a dried up vineyard caught fire around 11 p.m. Flames quickly spread among the dry grass and vines.
Crews were able to put out the fire before it reached Highway 99. Firefighters suspect it was started by fireworks. They say they found discarded, legal fireworks in the brush.
